At today’s Galaxy Note event, Samsung has just announced that 10 million Galaxy Notes have been sold world wide, reports Engadget. This number is quite impressive for the company, which has had its fair share of total flop products, including the Galaxy Tab, which sold a dismal 1.4M units in the U.S. between June of 2010 and June of 2012.

Still, although 10 million Notes sounds like a massive number, Apple sold 4 million iPhone 4S‘ in its first two days of availability. Considering the Note first launched back in late October of last year, that means it took Samsung 9 months or so to reach that milestone. On the other hand, the Galaxy S3 sold 10 million units in a matter of two months.
