NetProspex scores $7 million for crowd-sourced business contacts database

Lead generation solutions company NetProspex has raised $7 million in Series B funding from Edison Ventures – which has now pumped $8.8m into the marketing technology company over 2 rounds – with participation from prior backers.

NetProspex provides business contact data services, maintaining a “clean” and up-to-date database of professionals’ contact information through crowd-sourcing.

Its clients are mostly B2B marketers looking to reach qualitative, targeted prospects for new business and thus acquire new customers faster.

More specifically, NetProspex offers on-demand prospect lists, data cleansing services and profiling analytics to optimize lead generation results. The company’s solutions integrate with most well-known marketing automation and CRM systems.
