Viewbix, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based company that offers a nifty interactive video platform and analytics software suite, has raised $2 million in Series A financing in a round led by Canaan Partners with participation from Longfellow Venture Partners.
Viewbix’s platform allows small and medium-sized businesses and non-profits to put a custom, interactive layer of ‘apps’ on top of their video content to increase user engagement, conversion and social sharing.

Some of the biggest names in tech are coming to TNW Conference in Amsterdam this May.
Its solution works with videos hosted on popular platforms such as YouTube and Facebook, or any self-hosted video. Users can customize the player with their own branding along with custom calls-to-action, or they can incorporate apps like maps, registration forms, or photos straight into the player.
