The Web 2.0 Summit is just around the corner, October 17th thru 19th, in San Francisco. With that in mind, the brains behind the Summit have put together some incredible maps over the past couple of years. As a visual representation, the team has created a new world map that showed the points of control within the Internet economy.
This year, with a focus on data control, the team has gone back to work to bring about an overlay to the map that shows an entirely new layer that represents the land grab for Web 2.0′s data. From Search to Social and Content, with everything in between, here’s a peek at who owns what.
