Sony is working on a redesign of its PlayStation Network’s look and feel, in what appears to be a bid to refresh the brand after hackers stole the personal data of over 100 million users, negatively affecting consumer trust in the brand.

VentureBeat reports that the new look will be similar to that of competitor Xbox Live, with less text and larger images, probably offering a take on the “tiled” look that has become a favorite of Microsoft designers of late.

The network retained 90% of its users following the attack — an angle Sony took to downplay the losses incurred by the breach, when in reality the 10% loss appears to equate to 10 million users no longer using the service.
