Google.org’s crisis map will tell you everything you need to know about winter storm Jonas

Winter storm Jonas is descending on the northeast tonight, and promises to dump a whole bunch of snow and mischief. To help people keep track of conditions, Google.org has a crisis map that zeroes in on areas most affected.

You can zoom in and out, and click on counties or cities to learn more about what conditions are like.

When you click on a map, it brings up a quick bit of info. If there’s more to it, clicking on the title will redirect you to a google.org page dedicated to weather conditions in the area.

So far, most of the northeast is in the red zone (which means lots of snow, wind and other not-very-fun conditions).

If you’re in Jonas’ way — or just want to keep tabs on friends and family in the area — feel free to bookmark the page and check the map often, which updates as weather conditions change.
Above all else, please stay safe.
