Google now shows you the full constitution of 13 countries directly in search results

Google is celebrating Constitution day by allowing you to easily access the constitution of 13 different countries.

If you type in ‘constitution’ on Google search, a box will show up with the Preamble of the US constitution, along with a drop-down menu to select any other parts of it you may want to read.

Other countries you can search for include Afghanistan, Bhutan, Estonia, Finland, France, Iceland, Japan, Laos, Latvia, Micronesia, Norway and Ukraine. No word on why these countries were chosen, but the company says it’s planning on adding more soon.

The new feature was constructed in partnership with the Constitute Project, which lists the full constitution for various countries around the world. It might be a little gimmicky celebration of Constitution Day, but we’re sure it’ll become appreciated next time someone needs to quickly quote the first amendment.
