Who can you vote for in the UK general election? Google will tell you

Who can you vote for in the UK general election? Google will tell you

Not sure who the candidates are in your constituency ahead of the election on Thursday? If you’ve not been bombarded by enough leaflets or doorstepped by politicians, Google can help.

It’s teamed up with crowdsourced site YourNextMP to bring information on your choices straight into its results. Search “who can I vote for?” and you’ll be greeted by a box asking for your postcode:

Enter it and you’ll be given a list of the candidates in your area and access to lots of information on their backgrounds, platforms, and recent press appearances.

You can get to the same information by searching directly for your constituency name and “candidates”.
