Just half an hour after launching Google Hangouts 2.0 for Android, Google announced T-Mobile has joined in supporting MMS messages from their users to be sent to Google Voice users. These MMS messages will appear in Gmail and can also result in a notification via SMS.

Last week, Google announced it was cracking down on third-party apps that use the service without permission. It also revealed the latest Hangouts app will only work with Google Voice numbers on enabled Sprint phones. With T-Mobile on board now, Google only has to worry about Verizon and AT&T in the US.
