Google Currents now has Google Translate baked in so you can view more content than ever

For the Nexus 7 Tablet, you’re going to be able to fully utilize Google’s Currents product, as it now has translation baked-in. Users can load content, and then have it quickly translated to the language of their choice. On stage, English was translated to Arabic.

The promise of the inclusion of incorporating Google Translate is that it opens doors for anyone who prefers to read in their native tongue. Publications that were previously out of reach can now be made simple, and readable, instantly. That’s a great feature on your mobile device. Kids in India could read the New York Times in Hindi, for example. If you can remember that brilliant moment when Chrome first translated a page for you, and apply it to other content, on the go, you suddenly realise why this new feature matters.
