Google would like to remind you that it’s #1 in search, offers suggestions on how to keep it that way

Just in case you weren’t sure, Google is the #1 search engine in all of the land. But what’s weird is that it just released a video in which you can help it stay in the driver’s seat.

The video is called “Putting Google at your fingertips” and it links you to a page called “Get Instant Access to Google” and it walks you through all of the ways that you can help Google stay at the top. For most of us, it will cause you to say “duh” out loud, but perhaps the company felt that it was time to help the less tech savvy:

Is Google feeling the heat from Bing’s latest releases? Who knows, but if this tutorial is any sign, the folks at the search giant want to make sure that everyone knows exactly how to keep Google search front and center.
