As with most smartphone handsets that get leaked, the following day an insider with access to the device decides to let it all loose and provide further details on the handset.

It’s happened again with Google’s next Nexus Android smartphone, which we knew before as the Nexus Prime, which is expected to launch under the name Galaxy Nexus and be the first Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone. The video comes courtesy of Gadget.ro – providing us with a good look at the new Google-branded Samsung device and a peek at the new Ice Cream Sandwich software.

The specifications are expected to include dual core 1.5GHz processor, dual core Imagination GPU, 4.65-inch 1280 x 720 pixel Super AMOLED HD display, 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video, a powerful 1750mAh battery and could be LTE-enabled but also supports both GSM and CDMA carriers with a dual-SIM slot. These specifications were tipped by BGR, details we reported yesterday.
