The news that Samsung and Google had decided to postpone the launch of the Galaxy Nexus smartphone and Ice Cream Sandwich software at a CTIA event in San Diego software surprised a lot of people, a delay that many speculate was as a result of Steve Jobs’ passing on Thursday morning.
So. Much. Tech.
Some of the biggest names in tech are coming to TNW Conference in Amsterdam this May.
The location looks to have changed too, with London now welcoming both Samsung and Google to present their new hardware and software.
Whilst Google has remained quiet on the matter, we spoke with someone close to the situation, who mentioned that we “should be there” at the October 11th event, further reinforcing speculation that the search giant will use this event to unveil Ice Cream Sandwich and everything it has to offer.
So, Android fans, it looks like you will have to wait an extra couple of weeks – but from what we have seen in the Galaxy Nexus video leak and associated specifications, it will be worth the few extra days.
