Chrome Web Store in Developer Preview, here’s how to get your app in there.

It’s a well known secret that Google plans to launch its web app-store “Chrome Web Store” in October. The store will launch, bringing games, themes, extensions and applications directly to Chrome users, while taking a 5% cut (plus an additional 30 cents per transacation) from Chrome application developers.

In the mean time, the company has just launched the store in developer preview and set about getting apps into the store ready for the launch, Google has generously put together a short video guide to how to make that happen but you’ll also find a lengthy guide here.
