Google is testing multiple account logins for some users according Google Operating System (unofficial blog). The option shows up on testers’ Google Accounts page and works on Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Reader, Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Code.
If this rolls out to everyone, it will be a very welcome feature for many, as currently, Google users that want to have more than one account running on their computer at a time need to have two browsers running simultaneously. If you are a tester, however, and you turn this option on, you won’t be able to use Gmail in offline mode, which may be a disadvantage for some. That said, hopefully this will be a feature that Google can put in the fast-lane to get out to all users as soon as possible.

I think they are trying this feature since about 2 months.
They was promting me to select the account I want to use every time I access one of Google services, but this caused some problem for me while using Google Docs ( Error: Permissions denied to access this document)
I’ve seen that same error Kim mentioned. Docs is definitely struggling with multiple accounts being open at the same time. I don’t recall the prompt mentioned in the article but I’ve been logging into multiple accounts on the same browser for as long as I can remember.
It does present and interesting challenge for Google. You want Google Apps to know who you are, but we are many things and this often represents itself in several Apps accounts.
When I click on Calendar, Docs, Sites, More from Gmail – I should be presented with the Apps from the same account. This is continuing to be the case more and more often which is beautiful – keep working on it Google!
