This is our third story today just on major APIs that Google has released today at the first day of its developer conference, Google I/O. As we predicted as one of our 12 stories to watch at I/O, his time up, its Buzz, which launched in Labs along with a number of third-party developers including Tweetdeck, Seesmic, Plancast, Klout, Meebo and Boxee.
What does this mean? Well, it now means you’ll be able to view and post your Buzzes (or whatever they’re called) from a few of your favorite social media clients (Tweetdeck, Seesmic), see your plans show up in Buzz (Plancast), get your Buzz Klout score, and more. Basically, you do it with Twitter, now do it with Buzz.
F**k it, we'll do it live!
Our biggest ever edition of TNW Conference is fast approaching! Join 10,000 tech leaders this May in Amsterdam.
Of course, keeping with Google’s very well broadcast committment to open standards, the API includes support for lots of services such as OAuth and ActivityStreams.
