Pokémon Stars reportedly coming to Nintendo Switch

Pokémon Stars reportedly coming to Nintendo Switch

Pokémon Stars, the third iteration of Sun and Moon, is reportedly coming to Nintendo’s new console, ‘Switch.’

According to Eurogamer, Stars will offer improved visual assets built from the ground up to harness the power of Nintendo’s new console. The first of these was briefly shown in the teaser for Sun and Moon back in February. If you look really closely, you’ll see a high-definition model of Pikipek and several shots of concept art to be used in Pokémon Stars.

Originally planned for release in summer, 2017, the game has now been pushed back to sometime later in the year.

According to Eurogamer, the Switch version was in development at the same time as Sun and Moon, but the team ultimately had to put the project on hold while it finished Sun and Moon. Now that Sun and Moon is out, they’ve reportedly switched their attention back to Stars, and we’re headed toward a late 2017 release.
