Facebook now lets marketers target ads at its 92 million expats

Facebook now lets marketers target ads at its 92 million expats

Facebook has announced a new targeting feature that allows marketers to reach expats with their ads on the social network.

You can now target expats living within a given country and even those originating from a specific country. So, if you wanted to display ads only to people born in India and living in Brazil, you can now reach them with a focused campaign. Facebook says it has 92 million people who live abroad on its network.

Nationality-specific targeting is currently available for users from Brazil, Indonesia, China, South Africa and India. It’s now available across all Facebook ads interfaces, including the API.
