If you’re designing mobile apps or Websites, you’ll want this updated piece of paper (seriously!)

If you’re designing apps or Webpages for mobile, chances are you sketch ideas out before you commit them to Photoshop (or Sketch!). To help, there’s been an update to a piece of paper (yes, I’m serious).

A dot-grid paper meant for iOS design is now ready for current hardware, and has been updated for iOS 10. All iPhone templates — the 5 (and SE), 6 and 6 Plus — reflect iOS 10 design guidelines, and have both portrait and landscape layouts.

In addition to a dot grid, there are markers for half, 1/3 and 1/4 along the top of the screen, and dedicated placeholders for status bars, headers, search bars, footers and iPad side bars.

Best of all, you can download the templates for free. If you’re a designer working on mobile, it’s probably one of the best tools you can have that doesn’t require a MacBook.
