Part of Bohemian Coding’s plan for pulling Sketch from the Mac App Store was to provide faster updates. Today, Sketch 3.5 is out, fixing several niggles that have been frustrating designers and developers.
Full of improvements and enhancements, a big takeaway is that moving or otherwise working with several items (or heavy artboards) is now faster. If you’re grouping and moving several objects around often, Sketch will probably feel a bit faster and more responsive.

Many who have been upset with Sketch’s fussy performance since the 3.4 update will probably find favor with 3.5. In my brief run-through, it was faster and more responsive to large tasks, and the updates iOS icon template was a nice discovery as well.
For those still using a version of Sketch purchased via the Mac App Store, this update won’t be available. You’ll have to first grab a copy via Bohemian Coding, but there’s no secondary purchase to make.
