Facebook Places Launches in Canada

At long last, Mark Zuckerberg can know where you are in Canada. Yes, Facebook Places has been turned on for Canadians!

I’m waiting for the rush of excitement, but I’m wondering if it’s going to be a yawn. When the UK got Places earlier this month I didn’t see a huge rush of excitement. Are Canadians going to be different? Is Places going to be the awesome thing that it was hyped to be?

Only time will tell, but here are some screen shots of what the iPhone app looks like when you first launch it when Places is turned on:
