Uber, the driver-for-hire service that lets you beckon a classy car with a few clicks of your smartphone, has expanded its operations to Dubai, which could make getting a ride in the city a whole lot easier.

The company confirmed the new service today in a blog post, adding that it would continue to add new cars and drivers to the service over the coming weeks. It’s currently operating cars such as BMW 7-Series, though it hasn’t specified what other vehicles will be available initially.

The move is the latest in an ever-expanding raft of launches from Uber, most recently marking its move into China but this is the company’s first foray into the middle east.
