Amazon is putting its original TV pilots on Facebook and YouTube for free

Amazon is sharing free full-length episodes of some of its popular original shows – which you normally need an Amazon Prime subscription to watch – right on YouTube and Facebook.

Of course, you can only watch the full seasons right on Amazon, but it looks like the company is trying bait users with free content, and hoping they’ll be reeled in enough to subscribe.

The list of pilots include:

  • The Man in the High Castle
  • Mozart in the Jungle
  • Bosch
  • Read Oaks
  • Transparent
  • Annedroids
  • Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street
  • Just Add Magic
  • Tumble Leaf
  • Wishenpoof!

Amazon makes some pretty good content – I’m fond of the first two series on this list – so there’s definitely nothing wrong with a little extra promotion. Still, I can’t help but feel the shows must not be attracting that many viewers if Amazon has to try to lure them on competing platforms first.

You can head over to watch the pilots on Amazon’s official YouTube channel or Facebook page.
