Lifelong republican created TrumpSingles.com to make dating apps great again

If you’re a Trump supporter, chances are you’re having difficulty finding others that share your political leanings. David Goss, a 35-year-old “lifelong republican” wants to help.

Goss, who recently got out of a four-year relationship with a liberal woman (and says political differences played a factor in the split) struggled to find others who shared his affinity for the obnoxious talking head before meeting his current wife, Tonya, who’s also a Trump supporter.

Spotting an opportunity in the forever alone crowd — who just decreased their chances of finding that special someone even further by liking one of the most despised men on the planet — Goss created TrumpSingles.com to connect people who obviously hate themselves, or at least Mexicans, Muslims and a generally non-white working class populace.

“I think there’s a special stigma when people say they’re supporting Trump, because of some of the brash things that he’s said,” Goss told the NY Post.

Goss created the site after he claims the media ‘bastardized and demonized’ Trump, a ridiculous… well, actually that part is mostly true, but in fairness, Trump gives us a lot to work with. Because of this media bastardization of Trump, Goss — and presumably others — often keep political leanings to themselves when using dating apps, a move not unlike failing to mention you have herpes on Tinder.

Some things are just better said in person.

But then, that doesn’t always turn out as planned either. Goss’ female friend told him that she revealed her affinity for Trump to a male Hillary Clinton supporter in the middle of a dinner date, a revelation that prompted him to get up and leave her with the check.

Still, there’s value in finding a significant other you agree with.

According to Goss:

“At first I was concerned that people would think this was a parody site. But people have told me that they’re so happy they can finally go on dates without worrying about political differences.”

Parody site? I’m still not convinced this isn’t a parody campaign.

Of course, if Trump is elected, finding a relationship without worrying about political differences might be the least of your worries, but it’s nice to know you have options.
