Everalbum takes its popular photo service to Android

Everalbum takes its popular photo service to Android

Since its debut on iOS in the fall of last year, Everalbum has gained significant traction all over the world, especially in countries like Brazil and India where mobile adoption is gaining fast. In an effort to boost its international appeal, the company announced today that the app will now be available for Android.

“The biggest thing about Everalbum is we believe we’re building the right product for the mass market, the product that truly solves a need,” Everalbum co-founder Andrew Dudum told TNW. “There are so many people who have tried in this space, but what we’ve seen in the last year is that we’ve just made it as simple as possible, aggregating your entire life and organizing that content for you.”

For those unfamiliar, Everalbum is a photo storage alternative going head-to-head with Google Photos — it’s designed to unite all photos taken on popular platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, and organize them in an an easy-to-access chronological interface.

Everalbum comes with all of the features iOS users have come to like about the service — fast, easy organization of their media and plenty of storage to boot — including access to its Everalbum Plus plan that allows for unlimited high-resolution storage. Going forward, Dudum says that the company will be looking forward to bringing a cutting edge photo curation experience to growing markets.

“We think a lot about how to make it even easier and more frequent to relive important memories,” he said “Making sense of billions of photos, understanding who the most important people are and the most important locations in real time.”

It’s a logical move for the San Francisco company, which now sees more than half of its usership outside of the U.S.

You can download Everalbum for free today at the Google Play Store.
