Dashlane’s overhauled multi-platform password manager is now far easier on the eyes

Dashlane’s overhauled multi-platform password manager is now far easier on the eyes

Dashlane’s password manager has been updated today for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices to bring a consistent look and feel across platforms, as well as introducing a few other tweaks and new features.

Among the updates Dashlane 4 offers users are new viewing options (grid or list) and a ‘Quick Actions’ menu accessible directly from the search field that lets you find your data more easily.

The company has also added support for 300 additional websites for its automatic password changer option (making over 500 in total) and 250 new international payment options can be stored within your account (banks, credit cards and other financial institutions).

As well as the more modern look, the newest version also adds support for five new languages – Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian and Japanese.

The update follows a concerted effort from the company to appeal more to business users and the introduction of a new enterprise service that can allow companies to alert their customers if their credentials are at risk.
