Movesum tells you how many steps it’ll take to burn off what you eat

Movesum tells you how many steps it’ll take to burn off what you eat

Lifesum already helps its 12 million+ users improve their lifestyles by encouraging better food choices and assisting with their exercise routine. And for Londoners, there’s even a special Lifesum juice drink you can buy to help supplement what you might be missing in your diet.

Now, the team behind Lifesum has released Movesum for iOS and Android– a free step tracker app that counts your steps and calories, as well as letting you set daily goals and encouraging you to continue on a seven day streak.

What makes Movesum different though is how it shows you what the calories of the food you are eating equate to in steps. For example, five bananas is 640 calories, which will take you 12,800 steps to burn off.

By showing you how many steps it takes to burn off the food you’re eating, it really makes you reconsider some choices if you haven’t got the time for a long hike afterwards.
