Groupon’s Breadcrumb Live iPhone app lets restaurants monitor business in real-time

Groupon’s Breadcrumb Live iPhone app lets restaurants monitor business in real-time

Groupon acquired Breadcrumb back in 2012 and it’s been chugging along ever since, even as rivals like Square have been nipping at its heels. Now the point of sale service is launching Breadcrumb Live, an iPhone app for restaurants.

The aim of the app is to give owners real-time access to data including sales figures, guest and check counts, and performance trends right on their iPhones.

Breadcrumb Live shows real-time sales data (including total net sales and average check size), time and trend analysis (to spot patterns in week-over-week revenue, traffic, and sales) and allows users to delve even deeper into the analytics.
