Earlier this year, former Opera CEO Jon von Tetzchner, launched Vivaldi as a new browser for power users. Today, the company has released the latest preview of the browser which adds some interesting new features.
The most interesting new feature is the ability to tile browser tabs in a single window. This is particularly useful if you’re using a large screen and don’t want to have multiple windows floating around for individual tabs.
It’s a pretty nifty way to view tabs and is something I’ve not seen in other browsers previously. It’s quite useful for comparing two products or following along with an event.
The company also added a bunch of other smaller features, such as the ability to add screenshots or files to notes and a total of 40 languages (including Persian) are now supported by the browser.
Vivaldi hasn’t reached even reached beta yet, but has already passed the one million download milestone. Technical preview 3 is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
