This company wants you to deliver other people’s packages and get free waffles

Here’s an unusual partnership – the Waffle House restaurant chain has hooked up with delivery startup Roadie. The deal will give drivers who drop packages at the chain, which has 1,750 locations open 24 hours a day, free food and drinks.

Roadie’s app hooks people with parcels up with travelers who are headed in the right direction. The partnership with Waffle House means they can now designate one of the restaurant’s locations as a neutral meeting place. Drivers who make their deliveries there will get a free waffle and drink.

It’s early days for Roadie but adding free waffles to its business model definitely can’t hurt.
