8tracks for Android gets Chromecast support to let you beam music to your TV

A little over a month after 8tracks gave its Android app a major lick of paint, the popular internet radio service has now added Chromecast support to the mix.

Yes, this means you can now beam your tunes from your phone directly to your TV, which should go down a treat at parties.

While some music-streaming heavyweights such as Spotify have been slow to embrace Google’s HDMI dongle, the likes of Rdio and Deezer already support it. Still, it’s great to see 8tracks finally added to this list too.
