Livestream for iOS gets GoPro camera support for real-time broadcasting

If you own an iPhone and one of GoPro’s rugged HERO cameras, you might want to check out the updated Livestream for iOS app.

You’ve probably deduced this already, but the latest version of the livestreaming application has added GoPro camera support. So whatever you’re doing, be it backflipping over a 72-foot canyon gap, or perhaps something a little safer with your favorite canine, you can now broadcast it in real-time online.

As CNET notes, you’ll first need to connect your iPhone to the GoPro HERO’s personal Wi-Fi network. Once the two are paired, you can broadcast for as long as the two devices are in range and you have a steady 4G connection. (Presumably, 3G wouldn’t be strong enough for a consistent stream.)
