Foursquare says Swarm for Windows Phone is coming ‘in the next few weeks’

Foursquare’s decision to launch a new check-in app called Swarm has caused quite a stir. If you’re a Windows Phone owner though, you’ve probably been wondering when the controversial app would arrive on Microsoft’s mobile OS. Well, worry no more.

Today, Foursquare said its Swarm for Windows Phone app would be ready “in the next few weeks.” It showed a few tantalizing screenshots in a blog post, revealing a mostly similar design to its iOS and Android counterparts.

Only yesterday, the company teased its upcoming Foursquare redesign and a new logo, which swaps the check-in iconography for a pink, capital ‘F’ superhero emblem. The latter was also pretty divisive, it would seem.
