Buy Me a Pie for iOS updated with advanced sharing and private list options

Buy Me a Pie for iOS updated with advanced sharing and private list options

Buy Me a Pie, the grocery shopping list app for iOS, has been updated with new features which include advanced list sharing and the introduction of private lists.

Following its visual revamp, the most significant new option is the ability to separate different shopping lists to share between different accounts. Although sharing was possible before, giving someone access to your shared lists gave them access to all your lists.

So, if you find yourself needing to share different lists with different groups of people all the time, this should now be easier. Of course, you can still share with non-users via email or SMS.

Lists that you don’t choose to share will be deemed private. The idea here is that you might want to keep a secret gift list away from the prying eyes of people that share access to the lists in your account.

You can also now copy lists to your clipboard to paste elsewhere, and can store up to 20 instead of eight. Along with iOS, Buy Me a Pie is available on Android and the Web. These features aren’t available on Android yet, but they’re on the way, the company tells us.
