Jelly has released an iOS app update for its mobile Q&A service that appears aimed at bolstering engagement and giving you greater control over your content. Users can now mute commenters and even delete their own content permanently.
Lastly, the company has a new “I’m Feeling Helpful” option that will be displayed when there’s no one around you that needs a question answered — this is the service’s version of Google’s “I’m Feeling Lucky” to apparently help show there’s more value to be had with its app.

Jelly launched in January as a product of Twitter co-founder Biz Stone’s thinking. It’s a service that crowdsources answers by leveraging friends and those that follow you across various social networks. While its initial launch may have caused some to view it as just another Quora, Stone said that the app was still in its infancy and was in it for the long haul.
Citing a small team, Stone has admitted that the company had to withhold some features from being released, but promised that the app would be updated often — the features in today’s update are most likely part of that plan. However, it’s important to note that they have not yet been made available for Android.
