Frontback adds a global feed to its iOS app enabling you to view public photos from over 100 countries ...

Frontback today updated its popular iOS app that includes a new global feed that enables users to search for public photos. Also included in this release are updated features like better account management and improvements to the friend finder mechanism.

With the improved global feed, users can choose to browse through other people’s content from around the world. In a way, this appears to be similar to what Banjo is currently offering, except not from a “selfie” point of view. Of course, if you don’t want to share your Frontback images with non-friends, you can opt-out in the app’s settings.

Another conference. “Great.”

This one’s different, trust us. Our new event for New York is focused on quality, not quantity.

Frontback says with this global feed feature, users can view public photos from over 100 different countries. The company has tested this feature for “some time now” and believes it will be useful when Valentine’s Day, the Winter Olympics in Sochi, the World Cup in Brazil, and Mardis Gras in New Orleans take place this year.

The company has also updated its account management controls. You can now change your username, update your profile photo, and integrate Frontback with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram “faster.”

Lastly, “Find Friends” now pulls friends who are using Frontback from your contacts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

If you’re not familiar with Frontback, it’s a mobile app that snaps photographs using your front and rear-facing camera and compiles it together. In 2013, company co-founder and CEO Frederic della Faille said that the app was seeing 200,000 downloads per month and was being used by the likes of Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, actor Ashton Kutcher, and the Prime Minister of Belgium.
