Calendar app Sunrise hits the iPad, adds new iPhone 3-day view. Desktop and Android versions due soon

Sunrise iPad
An iPad-optimized version of Sunrise, the acclaimed smart calendar for iOS, has been conspicuous by its absence until today. The app has been updated with tablet support that brings with it the space to offer both week and month views.

iPhone and iPod touch users also get the benefit of a new three-day view, although we’d prefer the ability to rotate the screen into landscape and see a full week or more. Meanwhile, iOS 7 background data fetch has been added, meaning that your calendar shouldn’t have to refresh from the server each time you open it up.

If you’re not an iOS user and wonder when you might get some Sunrise goodness, co-founder Pierre Valade tells us that desktop and Android versions are expected to be ready within the next couple of months. We’ll let you know as soon as they drop.
