We first covered Buy Me a Pie when it launched back in 2012 when it was iOS-only, noting that it was a great way of creating, sharing and managing grocery lists with friends and family. Now, it has been given a completely design overhaul, including new icon, interface and animations.
The dictionary now has a new ‘favorite items’ section, which learns the items you enter most frequently, while if a flatmate or significant-other makes changes to a shared list, you’re now informed of this at the time.
Moreover, background syncing means your lists are updated even if the app isn’t open, and there’s new colors for categorizing grocery items – and it caters specifically for color-blind people too.
