rove iphone5 0002 skr 3 220x390 Stylish location diary app Rove now lets you share your trips, and track yourself when offlineFrom Moves to Narrato, apps that allow you to record what you’ve been up to and where you’ve been, either automatically or manually, seem to be enjoying a resurgence at the moment. Rove is a beautiful-looking iOS app that records your journeys in a similar way to Moves, but focuses more on the locations than your physical activity, and allows you to add photos of your adventures.

In recent days it’s seen an update that allows you to share your journeys with others via a Web page that can be emailed, tweeted or posted to Facebook, complete with a cover photo and caption (see this example). It’s a neat solution to sharing the places you’ve been without much work.

Although it’s unlisted in the release notes, the developers tell us that it will now keep tracking your without a data connection – perfect for when you’re roaming (and roving) abroad.
