If you’re not aware, the @BreakingNews account on Twitter is one of the speediest at getting the latest worldwide breaking news to the masses. It’s quite impressive to see how far along it has come. Since MSNBC acquired the service in 2010, it keeps getting better.
The team has launched a new version of its iOS app, but more importantly, its first iPad version.

For those of you not on an iPad, the app has gotten some nice design tweaks for your iPhone. It’s definitely worth the update.
