Hulu Plus is now available for six Android devices

Hulu has just rolled out its Hulu Plus application to bring its premium video streaming service to Android users.

According to the Hulu blog, the free application is now available on the Android Marketplace; however, the bad news is that the app is only available on six Android phones initially: Nexus One, Nexus S, HTC Inspire 4G, Motorola Droid II, Motorola Droid X, and the Motorola Atrix, with “additional device announcements” due later this year.

The Hulu Plus app is available for download from Android Market, and once installed, Hulu Plus subscribers will be able to enjoy all the site’s features on the go.

As always, Hulu Plus offers new subscribers one free week to try the service while the standard subscription is at $7.99/month. It is currently available in the U.S. only.
