PostPost comes to the Chrome Web Store. More amazing content, curated from your friends.

PostPost comes to the Chrome Web Store. More amazing content, curated from your friends.

If you’ve seen Paper.li or Flipboard, then you know the basic idea behind PostPost. However, the differences are pretty major. Instead of being curated by random strangers, like Paper.li, PostPost comes from your social circle. As opposed to Flipboard, the content comes to you in real time instead of hours (or a day) later.

Robert Scoble had a chance to sit down with the brains behind PostPost and to talk about the newest version of the service, an app in the Chrome Web Store.

Surely you heard the keywords in there, right? Video? HTML5? The PostPost app loads your content incredibly fast. In only a few seconds, you have access to all of the media that your friends have posted onto Facebook, displayed right in front of you in an easy to consume fashion.

It’s built with a jquery plugin called Masonry, and it provides you a really slick interface. What’s really great about that, however, is that you can comment directly inline and interact just as you would on the site without having to go to Facebook to weed through the latest group of Cityville announcements.
