Dropbox updates its mobile platforms; announces BlackBerry support and App Directory

Dropbox, that lovely application that lets you store cloud files in a native folder on our computer, has just updated its mobile applications across its mobile lineup. Here’s a quick rundown of what has updated for each device family:

iPhone/iPad – Automatic offline caching, HD video support, high-res photo capture, new home screen and progress display.

Android – Photo galleries, multi-photo upload, automatic sending from applications.

BlackBerry – Yes, indeed Dropbox has finally come to BlackBerry. You’ll get all of the typical Dropbox features, such as upload progress, file synchronization and more. You can find your application at http://dropbox.com/blackberry

The other interesting addition, according to the press release, is that of the Dropbox App Directory. The App Directory is a way to sort through the more than 100 partner applications for Dropbox to find out what works with your device.
