How iPhone 6 and 6 Plus owners can join the class action lawsuit against Apple

How iPhone 6 and 6 Plus owners can join the class action lawsuit against Apple

Last week we reported Apple’s so-called ‘touch disease’ — a gray bar at the top of the phone that leads to an un-responsive (or under-responsive) display. This problem struck a chord with iPhone 6 and 6 Plus owners plagued by the same problem, and judging by the comments on our own Facebook page… there are a lot of you.

Three plaintiffs yesterday filed a class action lawsuit detailing the problem in the US District Court of Northern California. The complain, lodged by California legal firm McCuneWright sought repair, recall and/or replacement of all affected iPhones and the extension of Apple’s standard warranty period to fix future cases. The plaintiffs are also seeking unspecified damages.

Today, McCuneWright opened up the suit to other parties, as is standard practice in a class action case.
