Google Photos just introduced a clever new feature that will let you edit photos without the risk of irreversibly altering the original.
While previously users had to rely on duplicates to avoid making permanent changes to pictures, Google Photos now offers a nifty ‘Undo Edits’ button that eliminates the need for duplicating altogether.
Instead, edited images will now store a copy of the original within the photo itself, making it possible to restore any changes made.
To take advantage of this new function, simply click on the menu button in the upper right corner of the action bar – the ‘Undo Edits’ button will quickly appear.
The feature is rolling out now on the Google Play store.
