TED Talks now available on Apple TV for users in the US

Users of Apple TV devices in the US have access to three new channels from today, including content from the well-known and wide-ranging series TED Talks.

Alonside TED, the other two new channels are Tastemade, which is dedicated to food and travel, and Young Hollywood, which offers up celebrity news and interviews.

The new channels won’t be enough to push an undecided buyer into purchasing the device, but an ever-expanding offering probably wouldn’t hurt the sales of a the rumored second generation Apple TV, which is said to be expected to be revealed in June replete with Siri integration.

The additions follow news earlier this month that Apple TV would be the exclusive partner for HBO’s new streaming service.
