At the White House Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection, Apple CEO Tim Cook took the stage and talked about how Apple and other companies need to get security right. Judging from the recent hacks, he’s right. But he also took a moment to drop some Apple Pay news.
Beginning in September, you will be able to use Apple Pay for government transactions. Just that much easier to give the government your money without busting out your wallet.
So coming this fall, you might be able to pay for your entrance to Yellowstone National Park with your iPhone without worrying about your credit card number being stolen. Piece of mind and peace and quiet. That’ll be nice.
