Apple’s Cook, Ive and Federighi give revealing interviews on new iPhones and Android fragmentation

Apple’s Cook, Ive and Federighi give revealing interviews on new iPhones and Android fragmentation

Ahead of the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s going on sale tomorrow, three of Apple’s top executives sat down with Bloomberg Businessweek and USA Today to chat about the company’s current trajectory and the impending release of its newest devices.

Naturally, Tim Cook, Jony Ive and Craig Federighi (SVP of software) all remained pretty upbeat throughout the four-page interview, despite discussing the increasing threat from low-cost manufacturers in places like China and India and discounted the threat from Android with the view that iPhone owners are a more satisfied bunch.
