Apple’s retail stores bring in 1 million daily visitors to its 400 locations in 14 countries

Apple has revealed its retail store numbers today at its Worldwide Developer conference with more than 1 million daily visitors. Company CEO Tim Cook revealed that it is operating stores in more than 14 countries with 407 stores.

Today’s news comes just a couple of months after the company shared during its Q2 2013 earnings that its retail stores have generated a little over $5.2 billion in revenue — a 19 percent decrease from the previous quarter.

Cook says that its stores are “filled with [its] colleagues” and sees tens of thousands of school kids visiting as part of their annual field trips.
