Apple signage confirms the new iPad will go on sale on Friday at 8am

Apple signage confirms the new iPad will go on sale on Friday at 8am

If you intend to buy a new iPad and want to pick it up on launch day, new signage has confirmed that Apple will open its stores earlier than usual and welcome customers from 8am, 9to5mac has revealed.

Whilst it had been rumoured previously, a source provided 9to5mac with a piece of artwork from an upcoming Apple Store display which clearly communicates the opening time: The new iPad: Available Friday March 16th at 8am.

AT&T and Verizon have confirmed they will be selling the device from their retail stores on Friday in the US, so if you don’t have a nearby Apple Store, that might be your best bet. Apple has yet to confirm the time itself but we imagine this will be the same for Apple Stores in each of the company’s initial launch regions.
